Holly Janda | Doula

Birth & Postpartum Doula | New Smyrna Beach, Florida

Holly is Christian, lives in New Smyrna Beach with her family, her husband Todd of 20 years and their precious daughter Emerson, 12 years old. Holly became interested in helping others, first with a career in teaching yoga and expanded into birth support. Certified as a Prenatal Yoga teacher in 2016. A lactation consultant in 2018 and a doula in 2020. Holly strives to support women and families in need of emotional, physical, and spiritual support before during and after delivery.

Allison - Founder of The Birth Mamas 

Licensed Midwife, Certified Doula, Certified Childbirth Educator, Certified Breastfeeding educator and Retired Nurse

Allison is a DONA certified birth Doula whose passion is supporting women during childbirth and educating them to help them achieve their desired birth. Allison is a nurse with 19 years experience in mother/baby health and pediatrics. She has experience as a lactation counselor as well as a midwife assistant. She is a wife and mama to Mikayla and Maxwell, who she delivered naturally at the hospital. Most recently Allison carried and delivered a surrogate baby via c-section. She is the lead photographer and also teaches childbirth education (Empowered Birth and Postpartum). Allison is currently a student Midwife with Commonsense School of Midwifery in Orlando.

 

Martha Muller

Tree of Tranquility Counseling and Wellness for the Mind and the Body

Martha provides individual counseling, always remembering the importance that family and relationships play in the lives of her clients. She specializes in working with anxiety, various forms of grief including perinatal loss, parents/caregivers/professionals struggling with their stress level/self-care, and highly sensitive persons.She offers Office, Telehealth, or Walk and Talk Counseling.

The Walk and Talk sessions take place at local beaches, parks, trails and sidewalks as an innovative and effective approach to counseling. This approach combines traditional talk therapy with the added benefits of walking and being in nature.

Martha incorporates a variety of these tools as well as numerous evidenced-based therapies to customize and individualize her approach to working with each of her clients. She has a Master’s Degree in Counseling and is licensed in marriage and family therapy. Her Bachelor's Degree is in Child Study. She has learned many helpful coping skills in her seventeen years of post-masters mental health experience. Prior to that she spent years gaining knowledge working with students diagnosed with Learning Disabilities and Autism.

Ashley Green, LCSW

Shoreline Counseling and Wellness

Ashley Green brings an integrative approach to the healing nature of counseling. This approach to counseling explores how our nervous systems show up in our everyday situations; shaped by previous experiences, relationships, and interactions with others. Ashley focuses on providing compassionate support as a way to cultivate resiliency from within. Through attending to the narrative of our stories with accompanying feelings and emotions, we can refocus to our strengthens as a way to promote growth and healing.

Ashley holds bachelors in psychology, masters in social work and over 10 years of most master's experience. Ashley spent the first part of her counseling career in healthcare, journeying with people facing chronic or life limiting conditions, a new diagnosis, traumatic or life changing experiences and death of loved ones. During this time Ashley developed a passion for also helping healthcare workers with the cumulative stress and trauma that accompanies these healthcare roles.

Ashley specializes in working with grief of all kinds. Grief isn’t just about the death of someone we love. It’s friendship growing apart, a career break up, navigating a diagnosis, the weight of chronic illness, or the stress of care-giving.

She provides individual counseling through in person, virtual or walk and talk sessions. Walk and talk sessions are scheduled in nature (parks, beaches, trails) as a way to incorporate gentle movement with meaningful conversation. Walk and talk sessions are known as a refreshing and effective twist to transitional counseling while promoting emotional healing.
